Gary King

Gary has successfully owned and operated King Marine Engineering formed in 1972 and King Productions International started in 1981. He is an expert in event production, security, risk management and logistics. Gary has produced and directed some of the largest motor sports events in the Tampa Bay area for over 40 years, including the 2001 APBA Offshore Powerboat World Championships. Gary has been executive director and operations director of events with 250,000 spectators and managed over 2000 volunteers, including 175 paramedics and 200 security personnel.

Gary has also spent 16 years as a professional powerboat race driver including a world record in 1991. He spent 14 years as an international artist doing projects for the Japanese government; was invited to perform at the International performing arts festival in Singapore; a television commercial  for Disney World, and many other sculpture projects worldwide.

Gary has traveled almost four million international air miles, giving presentations in schools worldwide, and was a featured speaker at University of California, San Diego for 12 years, he has been involved with over six million people worldwide in the personal development industry.

 

Along with his personal company accomplishments, Gary has been contracted as Director of Security, Road Manager, Operations Manager, Risk Manager and personal consultant to Celebrities for 25 years. Gary has many skills based on surviving 36 life trauma’s. Gary managed an international medical team and was the "first responder" for participant suicide attempts and "Baker Acting" Participants. He has worked with major hotel and convention center staff worldwide. He has also had a secret service clearance and provided personal security for celebrities, including General Schwarzkopf .  Part of his responsibilities were to design , write and manage the medical protocol and the health and safety criteria.  In that 25-year period, over six million people attended the personal development events he managed, staffed and was a presenter, which gave Gary the ability to interview thousands of  participants and do hundreds of presentations to gain a wealth of personal and professional information.

Gary is currently a consultant to Bay Care and their 19 Hospitals.

Over the last 35 years of extensive research along with reading and studying over 2300 nonfiction books, Gary has passionately developed a profound message and travels internationally speaking to Leaders and Entrepreneurs, in schools, prisons, and to teen groups. His message is timely and riveting on the subject of Character, Ethics, Integrity and Forgiveness. His message appeared in Oprah Magazine and O’s Guide to Life, and has had numerous articles published on, Character is our Bailout and The Happiness Formula.

 

Gary’s messages have been branded, “The Power of Truth”, “The Happiness Formula”, along with the Trademarked presentation, “The Happiness Experiment” have dramatically enhanced the lives of thousands of people in many cultures.

Gary’s first book “The Happiness Formula, The Ultimate Life Makeover” was released early in 2016, along with a worldwide series of seminars and retreats.

 

In November 2019, Gary started the nationwide "Happiness Experiment" using the psychology of human behavior based on putting signs with the word "Happiness" all over the city of St. Petersburg Florida. In the last three years there have been ten breaking TV news stories about Gary and his mission. Gary was the headline on the Tampa Bay Times, the day before the Tuesday 2020 election. Worldwide social media and national TV media grow by the day. The first week of June 2023, Gary’s life story was filmed for all the International Film Festivals along with the details of "The Happiness Experiment."  Gary is passionate and committed  about bringing the United States back to a foundation of Character, Integrity and Happiness. Starting with complete education reform that includes 50% life skills and 50%  basic education, a complete curriculum restructure .

 

Gary was born with  PTSD which transitioned into complex PTSD, he fought his way through 36 extreme trauma’s and on June 13th, 2022 Gary  discovered a 100% process to reverse the effects of CPTSD & PTSD at 77 years old, a true Miracle.

On November 16th, 2024, Gary starts on a National Tour as keynote speaker for the Barracks Legend Foundation national  events tour to serve Veterans and their Families.
